Do it for Dad
For families affected by prostate cancer, Father's Day can be a
particular reminder of the importance of the men in their lives.
Although we raise awareness of prostate cancer throughout the year
we hope Father's Day can inspire everyone to Do it for Dad and
raise money to support the most common cancer in men.
There are several ways to Do it for Dad.
Why not hold a fundraising event?
Whatever you have in mind, we're here to support you to make
your event a success. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Prise your dad away from his well-used set of tongs and hold a
barbeque in his honour.
- Organise a 'Dads vs Kids' 5 a side football, rugby, golf or
cricket tournament for family and friends.
- Take advantage of June's sporting events and organise a
sweepstake for Wimbledon, Royal Ascot or the Epsom Derby.
- Throw a 'Dress like your Dad' party and run a 'Dance
like your Dad' competition.
- Jump out of a plane from 10,000 feet - Find out more about
our Skydiving Week 2011.

Did you know?
