Making fundraising easy
Getting started
Simply set up an online fundraising
page and the money will automatically be sent to The
Prostate Cancer Charity, meaning no more chasing people for
cash.
Once you have registered you will be sent a fundraising pack,
including top tips and sponsorship forms.
Fundraising tips
- Run a sweepstake based on what time people think you will
finish - make it a few pounds to enter and get everyone in the
office to take part.
- Hold a cake sale at work - Sell the cakes - everyone loves cake
(well in our office anyway!).
- Run a raffle - ask local business to chip in - we did
one recently for a sky dive and raised over 2k with
loads of free gifts from companies.
- Link your training app to Facebook to show how hard you
are training. It makes people feel involved and keeps them
talking about it.
- Take a collection box to work and set up a swear box, every
time someone swears they have to make a donation!
- Hold a party at a pub, get the pub to donate the room for free,
recruit a DJ and ask everyone else to pay a tenner to join
you.
Rewards for hitting your target
There are fantastic incentives on offer when you reach a
fundraising milestone:
Raise £100 and you will receive a buff to keep
you warm while you train
Raise £200 to get The Prostate Cancer Charity
cycling jersey for free!
Raise £500 and you will be the proud owner of a
front and rear Exposure bike light set.
Finally, when you hit £1000 you will
be entered into a draw to win our mystery top prize! We can't tell
you what it is yet, you'll have to sign-up first...
