Metastatic spinal cord compression (MSCC)

This fact sheet is for men with advanced (metastatic) prostate cancer that has spread outside of the prostate gland to the bones. It tells you about a rare condition called metastatic spinal cord compression (MSCC) that can happen when cancer cells grow in or near to the spine and press on the spinal cord.
