Let's celebrate!
Tired of always getting the same present every year? Got lots of unwanted gifts and vouchers sitting in a drawer? If so why not celebrate your special occasion by asking your guests to donate to The Prostate Cancer Charity instead of giving gifts!
Last year The Prostate Cancer Charity raised over £26,000 through donations in lieu of gifts and this year we are hoping to raise over £35,000. If you would like to use your special occasion as an opportunity to help those affected by prostate cancer there are a number of ways you can do this:
Raise money online
Set up a Justgiving page and get guests to donate on line, to do this click on the link below and follow the instructions:
Once you are happy with your page e-mail your page link to your friends, family, work colleagues, here and abroad, and ask them to pass it on to all their contacts you will be amazed how generous people are. Also you can now track your progress on facebook by using justgiving’s facebook application: apps.facebook.com/justgiving or even add a widget to your blog website or social profile.

Past Celebrations:
Last year The Prostate Cancer Charity raised £26,000 from Celebrations. A number of supporters raised money in a variety of different ways either asking for donations instead of gifts at birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries and weddings, hosting parties or buying charity branded products to use as wedding favours. A big thank you to all our supporters who raised money through celebrations.
