Anyone can set up their own unique online sponsorship page through Justgiving.
You can add photos, a personal message and even YouTube footage to your page to make sure people know what you are doing and why.
By creating your own sponsorship page, friends, colleagues and relatives will have the opportunity to make their donations to you online via debit or credit card. People usually give more when they pay by card as they don’t have to find the cash.

Top tips to make your page more successful
- Email your page link to your friends, family, work colleagues, here and abroad, and ask them to pass it on to all their contacts you will be amazed how generous people are!
- Email everyone on or after pay day.
- Add the link to your email signature so that everyone you email will know what you are doing.
- Make sure that the first person to sponsor you sets the standard – if they sponsor you £20 then the next people might be encouraged to be as generous.
- Personalise your page – add a message about why you are fundraising for the charity and add photos to your page. Then keep your page updated. When you have finished your event include photos and stories and let all your contacts know.
