Our latest celebrity supporter, Dirty Dancing’s dance captain Sarah Bowden, will be undertaking a non-stop international cycle ride on 13 June to raise vital funds for the Charity. Her fundraising journey departs from London at 6.30am and will finish 4 days and just under 300 miles later under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Having undertaken a rigorous training routine of cycling, spin classes and of course dancing in eight shows a week in Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, Sarah is ready to ride and is hoping to raise over £1000.
Sarah has chosen to support The Prostate Cancer Charity because: ‘Every girl has a father and a grandfather, and I know so many of my friends that have men in their lives that have been touched by this, I wanted to give something back, for the men in our lives.’

Team of 4 cycle to the French capital
Derek and Abby West, John Mursell, Dominic Goold and Craig Bales all took part in the London to Paris bike ride in June 2007.
They cycled from London to Calais, hopped on the ferry and then set off on their bikes again from Calais to Paris. On the way they took in the sights of the picturesque Kent countryside and the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, passing famous battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt.
The trip took 5 days and they celebrated with a day exploring the capital of Romance.
Well done to the team!
