3 – 15 May 2011
30 Aug – 11 Sep 2011
Cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats is a classic challenge that many dream of. Starting at the southwesterly tip of England, we pedal our way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border into Scotland, via lochs and mountains to the North Coast.
In all we cover 1000 miles in 12 days. Discovering Britain at cycling pace is an enriching experience, and the sense of achievement upon crossing the finish line is second to none.
It was an unforgettable experience and one I would recommend that everyone does at least once! – Derek Russell
The Kintyre Way
Kintyre is on the west coast of Scotland between the islands of Arran and Islay only a few miles from the north east tip of Ireland. The Kintyre Way is a new 89 mile long distance walking route, opened in Summer 2006, running the full length of the beautiful Kintyre peninsula on the West coast of Scotland and stretching from Tarbert at the north end of the peninsula, to Southend in the south.
