The Ultimate Challenge – 3 Peaks in 24 hours!
Our fantastic team took part in the 3 peaks challenge on the 11th July 2009. They battled through the heat on Ben Nevis, the rain and dark on Scafell Pike and the exhaustion on Mount Snowdon. The team did a fantastic job and all put a huge effort into the challenge. So far they have raised a fantastic £3,000 so a huge well done to Zoe, Jo, Stephen, Ameet, Smeer and Paul!
We conquered Ben – May 23rd 2009!
Our team of 15 intrepid trekkers all made it up and down Ben Nevis in about 7 hours. The weather was beautiful at the bottom with blue skies and a light wind so the team were able to enjoy the views on the way up. However, it was snowing at the top but this all added to the challenge and sense of achievement when they reached the top triumphantly. The youngest person in the group was 14 and the oldest was 67 and everybody helped motivate each other throughout the day. At the end there was a well deserved meal and presentation to say thanks to everyone for their hard work. So far our trekkers have raised over £5,000.

“It was an absolutely fantastic experience and a real challenge. It was great to walk with a team of such supportive people and I would definitely do it again next year.” Gemma
