Case Study: Portman Building Society
Portman Building Society raised £3,407.26 for us through an AGM voting initiative in April.
"We are extremely pleased to be able to donate £3,407.26 to The Prostate Cancer Charity. The funds were generated through the Society's Annual General Meeting voting initiative, which donates 10p to charity for every vote cast. In 2006, the total raised was split between five regional charities in the Society's operating area. This year, Portman's charity theme is Body & Soul, with a focus on cancer related charities and support networks. The Prostate Cancer Charity fitted our theme perfectly and is a very worthy cause. We are delighted that the money will be put towards the toolkits, which will contain information about treatments and lifestyle to men living with Prostate Cancer."
