The Group, part of Skipton Building Society, sponsored a 5-aside football tournament on 13th September 2006 in aid of prostate cancer. Sixteen teams battled it out for the Prostate Cancer Cup, including employees from Callcredit, EuroDirect and GMAP, Skipton Building Society, Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS), HML, MoneyGroup and Accenture.

Skipton Information Group football matchSkipton Information Group Chief Executive, Mike Green, presented the trophy to the winning team. Mike said: "The day was great fun for all involved, but more importantly we succeeded in raising awareness and a significant amount of funds for prostate cancer". In addition to the football tournament, staff held a ‘Wear-it-Blue-Friday’, with individuals donating money for each item of blue clothing worn. Staff restaurant chefs also got into the spirit by serving up a blue-themed menu including blueberry muffins and blue cheese salads.
