Top Fundraisers

Jocelyn, Stuart and Gillian

Jocelyn and Martin Broughton are running with Gillian Tucker, Stuart Paterson and Jo Beslee and have so far raised over £30,000. Jocelyn, Gill and Jo organised a golf day and raised over £26,000. Stuart’s dad, Jocelyn’s cousin, died of prostate cancer 3 years ago.

Dr Mac keeps running

Dr MacMac Speake is continuing his tradition of running in every single london marathon since they started and will be raising funds for us again this year – his 27th marathon.

The boys are back in town!

Bryn Savage, made a statement on his vest last year!

Bryn Savage and Mick Shields are running for us for the second year running. They have been very busy fundraising and recently organised a successful fundraising night. Lots of their friends and family turned up to support them. Last year they booked a stretch limo to take them home – so look out for them this year – they might give you a lift!

Cherry Key's hopping marathon!

Cherry Key without her bunny ears

This was Cherry Key's second London Marathon. This year she donned bunny ears but abandoned them at the three mile mark. Cherry said, 'I made it! 4.27.57 but boy was it hot for the runners. I really struggled after 20 miles when it was a case of walk/run to get through it. The other PCC runners really helped me and I am afraid I didn't get their names - there was one guy at the end who really encouraged me and I would like to say thank you'.

Paul Garratt working hard for charity.

Paul Garratt at the finish line

'It was a fantastic day and one I will never forget' said Paul Garratt, who raised £4190 in memory of his Dad, Ray, through his Just Giving web page. Paul has also managed to get an article in his local paper - you can read it here.
