Welcome to the spring 2006 edition of Vital.
A great deal has happened since the last issue of Vital was published. In November, we held the Second National Prostate Cancer Conference in London.
This was the largest gathering of its kind in the UK, bringing together everyone with an interest in prostate cancer. We also revealed the results of our First National Survey, detailing exactly what over 1,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer thought about their experiences of care within the NHS.
Our findings highlight the powerful need for The Prostate Cancer Charity, our Helpline and kind supporters like you.
We've got some great articles as a way of saying thank you for helping in the fight against prostate cancer. We also have news of some fascinating research, plus a round up of fundraising events from across the country.
