Driving the Message Home

If you’ve spent a lot of time on the roads over the past few months, you may have caught sight of the ‘Real Man’ Ford Truck.

Debbie Bowles & Co and the trailerThe Prostate Cancer Charity has teamed up with Ford’s Transport Operations team to spread a very important message using the side of a delivery trailer – ‘Real men know all about it’.

Men need to be aware of the symptoms of prostate cancer before it’s too late. It’s curable, but only if caught soon enough. So the more men who know what to look out for, and what to do about it, the more lives can be saved.

John Neate, Chief Executive of The Prostate Cancer Charity, says: “Thanks to the ‘Real Man’ Ford truck, we have our own 40ft billboard travelling the highways and byways of the UK. It’s a great way of getting an important message to the public – especially to men who are often hard to reach.

We are very grateful to Ford for giving us this exciting opportunity. We hope that the truck-spotting enthusiasts up and down the country will help us track the progress of our awareness campaign.”
