Welcome to the Summer 2004 edition of Vital.
Now that summer’s here, it’s so nice to finally have some sunshine in our lives! And at The Prostate Cancer Charity, we’ve got a little more than usual. That’s because we’re still enormously pleased about the major success of our Awareness Week. It’s simply wonderful to know that men are getting in touch with us because they’ve seen one of our adverts or a leaflet has landed on their doorstep. After all, this could be the very thing that saves their lives.
I really hope you enjoy all of the articles we’ve included for you. But mostly I’d like you to think about the difference your support is making when you click through the pages of the magazine. And I’ve no doubt you will when you read the story of Alec Bregonzi who benefited from our Helpline. Or when you read about the research we’re going to be able to carry out in the next few years because of supporters like you.
Together, we’re increasing our understanding of prostate cancer every day, which will help us give hope to future generations of me.
Thank you for your support.
