An update on our financial position
As the Charity's work to tackle prostate cancer on every front gets stronger, so does our fundraising. We've invested in fundraising and now have a solid base, which should help us stay on target for raising £8 million in 2010/11.
Last year, local fundraising events organised by individuals raised £251,000, while groups such as Rotary Clubs, the Freemasons and sports clubs generated £135,000, as well as making more men think about their health.
Our total income of £4.454 million in 2006/07 was an increase of over 15% from the previous year and will play a significant part in enabling us to further develop our services and research programme. These fantastic results have given us renewed confidence, but there’s still so much more to do. With your help we can continue our work, raising awareness, research and helping men deal with prostate cancer.
We broke through the £4 million income barrier for the first time in 2006/07
