Welcome to the Winter 2004 edition of Vital
I don’t know about you, but we had an exceptionally busy autumn. After news broke of Stanford University’s new take on the PSA test, we found ourselves inundated with calls from the press and from people affected by the disease. Clearly, the news has been confusing for many people. That’s why we’ve included a special report. I hope you find it interesting and that it helps answer any questions you may have.
What else have we got for you in this issue of Vital? Don’t miss Ken Peters’ fascinating and inspirational personal account of his experience with prostate cancer.
And when you read of our exciting research into gene therapy, I want you to remember how important your support is. Without it, we simply couldn’t fund vital projects like this one. For this, I cannot thank you enough.
Happy reading.
