The Research Advisory Committee has been established to advise
the Board and Chief Executive of the Charity on its research
strategies and policies, recommending change and development as
appropriate.
The membership of the Committee has been carefully selected to
ensure a broad range of expert, user and organisational inputs. The
involvement of clinicians/researchers who are independent of the
Charity is essential in achieving rigorous and transparent
advice.
The
Terms of Reference document sets out the terms of reference and
membership of the Committee. The terms of reference are based on
the Statement of Values and Principles approved by the Charity's
Board on 16th July 2003.
