Support

Every man diagnosed with prostate cancer, or concerned about it, faces his own personal journey. How he finds his way through depends on a host of factors including the quality of support he and his family receive.

We can offer support either by telephone or online. We are also able to signpost to support groups.

Online Support

Email the Helpline Nurses

Email our helpline nursesSend our nurses an email with your question and they will endeavour to respond within five working days.

Please use our special contact form to help us to help you. We can only respond to enquiries in relation to treatment being received in the UK. We cannot respond to enquiries from outside the UK at this time.

Message Board

Our message boards are a popular and valuable way of sharing support and information with others who have been affected by prostate cancer.

The views given on the message boards may not always represent those of The Prostate Cancer Charity. To provide the best possible service, we keep an active interest in the topics being discussed, while making sure that the boards remain strictly for your discussion. We encourage you to contact the specialist nurses on our confidential Helpline for further support and information.

Support Groups

Talk to our specialist nurses

There are many prostate cancer support groups throughout the UK. These are usually run by men that have also been diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer, or by Urology/Oncology nurse specialists

These groups have been set up to ensure that you are getting the support and education around your prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment that you need.

Our support group page can help you find your nearest group. It will tell you what type of group they are, what they offer and when and where they meet, with a contact name and number if these details aren’t available.
