We are currently running two discrete community outreach projects:
Specialist Nurses
Our Specialist Nurse Programme has placed a complement of nurses in six NHS Trusts. These specialist nurse posts are for a 3-year limited period, and the aim of the programme is to improve practice at a local and national level.
African Caribbean Awareness
The African Caribbean Awareness Project (ACAP) was launched in September 2003 to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer within the African Caribbean community groups and promote access to health care services.
