Andrew Blessley
Andrew joined the Charity in 2005. Andrew is Clerk, or Chief Executive, of The Clothworkers’ Company, a City Livery Company and its associated grant-making charity, The Clothworkers’ Foundation.
Prior to joining the Clothworkers, he was Director Retail Banking of NatWest Bank in charge of running the branch network and small business banking. His 30 year career at NatWest included roles in strategy, commercial and retail banking in the UK and USA.
He is Trustee of the Metropolitan Society for the Blind, a member of the Court of The University of Leeds and a Governor of Christ’s Hospital. He has previously been a trustee of the NatWest Charitable Trust, a member of the BITC Regeneration Leadership Team and HM Treasury Credit Union Task Force. For the past four years, he has been adviser to the Prostate Centre, a Harley Street clinic, on business strategy and finance.
